“This beautiful cabin, situated in a big bend in the Little Sandy River, made us feel like we were in a new world. Every fun feature, from the loft beds to the porch swings to the kayaks made this the adventure of the summer. I cannot say enough good things about our time in Greenup. There are SO many cute little knick-knacks all over the property – really makes you feel like you are some place special.”
“We found it. This is where heaven and earth meet. Extremely beautiful and comforting. Everyone has their place where they can find a place to unwind. At the cabin mine was the swing. Overlooking the river and watching the birds it was serene. Sandy and Myra we’re accommodating and respected your privacy. You will not be disappointed when renting this cabin. Had a wonderful time.”
“Myra and Sandy’s Cabin in the Trees is awesome! We arrived late, after a twelve hour car ride, to a warm, cozy and welcoming cabin. It was spotless and charming. We had the best night sleep after a relaxing soak in the fabulous tub. In the morning we got to see the beautiful scenery surrounding the place. Our only problem was that we couldn’t stay longer, as we were on a cross country trek. Thank you Myra and Sandy!”

“Myra and Sandy’s cabin is absolutely everything we had hoped for—even better, actually! Know this—if you’re deciding between staying two days or three, ALWAYS PICK THREE. The indoor space is cozy and lovely, but there are simply too many different outdoor spaces around the cabin that are perfect for sitting and relaxing to enjoy them all in such a short period of time! With views of the river and the surrounding hills, it was truly an idyllic setting. And, for a VERY reasonable fee, was able to have the kayak for an entire day and take it out on the river at my leisure. It’s an easy, scenic kayak trip—about 2 miles—to the Ohio river. On the way, it snakes through tree-covered hills, which at this time of year were showing off some fantastic autumnal color. Add to all of that a gracious host in Myra (Sandy was out of town) who gave some great restaurant recommendations and tips on where I might find a scenic, nearby hike. If you’re seeking quiet relaxation, this is your place. I will definitely be coming back!!!!”
